It’s Proposal Season!

If you have a bad knee it’s time to get it checked and healed because it’s proposal season baby! Time to get the bank account up and running to get down on one knee with a ring!

As soon as Halloween decorations start popping up, it’s an indication that your wallet will also be frightened at how much you’re about to spend. We have officially entered the season of giving and joy but did you know this is the most popular time of year for wedding proposals? Over 37% of proposals happen between November and February, with December being unsurprisingly popular. Why? There’s something special about this time of year that gets people in the romantic mood.

With many key occasions like Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and Valentine's Day, proposing on a festivity makes the occasion even more special and memorable. There is no better way to enter the new year than with a ring on your finger. Moreover, will your partner really suspect anything if you propose on the day of one of these festivities? With the hype and joy surrounding these festivities, it’s possibly one of the best times to plan a surprise proposal!

HO HO HO…

You might be thinking, ‘Should I propose on Christmas?’. The answer is that we too don’t know. What we do know is that it would be incredibly heartwarming. We won’t lie that it might possibly be the most stressful planning of the year but to be fair, the year is about to end, give it your best shot we say! Surrounded by loved ones and the joy of Christmas, it’s the perfect opportunity to pop the question, share the good news and bask in post-proposal celebrations. Against the twinkling lights, the warm caress of the sun and the light ocean breeze of our stunning beaches, let the magic of a Christmas proposal take flight.

3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Celebrating New Year’s Eve marks the last day of the year and the closure of a chapter. We propose (pun intended) welcoming the new year with a partner in tow. Possibly quite predictable but not any less memorable, bend down on one knee as the clock strikes midnight and watch your partner say ‘I do’ against the starry night lights and fireworks. This also gives you a clear timeline of wedding planning as you start exactly on the first day of the new year.

CHEAP CHOCOLATE DAY

For all our single friends out there, Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to snag a chocolate bar and enjoy to your heart’s desire. Valentine’s Day is significant in celebrating love in all its forms, marking it as the perfect occasion to become engaged. Toss out the typical bouquet of roses or box of chocolates and instead surprise your partner with a ring! It's a declaration of love that goes beyond words, a testament to your commitment to spending your lives together. The romantic ambience of this day, with candlelit dinners and heartfelt cards, sets the stage for a proposal that will be etched in your memories for a lifetime.

So, whether you choose the enchanting Christmas season, the hopeful transition to a new year, or the day dedicated to love, you're bound to create a memory that will last a lifetime by proposing during this special time of year.
