The Wedding of Abbey & Brendan

2022 definitely ended on a good note for Abbey & Brendan as they ended the year with a lifelong partner and a new chapter in their lives.

With summer beginning, the sun was bright as ever as Abbey had hair and makeup done by Two Hearts Bespoke and with her four bridesmaids by her side, the nerves were slowly disappearing and quickly turning into excitement. A toast and a few pictures later, Abbey finally adorned her beautiful floor length gown from Esty Style and gosh was it a beautiful sight as her smile couldn’t get any bigger. As Abbey wore her jewels from Tiffany and Co, which glittered all day and night, the bridal group was ready to take on the day.

A suit from InStitchu had Brendan looking spectacular in the other room and with the help from his groomsmen, Brendan was looking equally as good as his soon to be wife. A good looking couple is always a power move! After a few laughs and drinks with the boys, it was time to face the music.

Before we talk about Abbey’s walk down the aisle, let’s talk about the flower boy. All attention was on him as he twirled and danced whilst handing out roses to the guest in a truly an iconic moment. As the acoustics from Champagne Wedding Duo begun their serenade, our gorgeous bride Abbey walked into the beautiful venue at Westin Perth, and just as every partner should, Brendan’s entire face lit up and the inevitable waterworks begun. Thankfully, as Abbey mentioned, Brendan always keeps a packet of tissue in his pockets! With the bouquet from Edie And Ivy Flowers on one hand and another on her father’s, Abbey walked down the aisle towards the beautiful floral and decorations centre point designed by the talented team over at Art DeFleur.

Thanks to the celebrant Andrew Pickering, Abbey and Brendan were able to recite their heartfelt vows and were soon pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Choi! With that it was time to get the party started!

Before Abbey and Brendan were able to get their dancing shoes on, our team stole them away for a short moment to capture a few special moments! It was a breeze to work with not only the couple but the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Not only were we able to grab beautiful intimate shots, but we were able to shoot a ton of quirky shots that we’re sure everyone will remember! Never say never when it comes to the Iceberg team!

Abbey and Brendan were able to sneak in a quick intimate first dance before the ceremony and no words were needed, love was all in the air and our team was so honoured to be able to capture such a stunning moment.

With banging music from Dream Wedding Entertainment, everyone was ready for the dance floor but everyone needs their fuel first right? Abbey and Brendan went down to business and cut into the stunning two-tier cake from Delarosa Cakes before downing their drinks and having the time of their lives. Switching into a beautiful red Cheongsam, it was time to let loose as every table took turns in screaming Yam Seng, a traditional Chinese tradition which translates to ‘Drink to Victory’.

Abbey and Brendan’s wedding will forever be engraved in our minds and not just because of their adorable pet corgi Yukon. Cheers to their new life and let’s all hope Brendan won’t leave Abbey in a bullet train in the middle of Japan again.
